South Beach Diet Phase One Recipes Round-Up from August 2008 (Low-Glycemic Recipes)

It's a new month and time for a round-up of the phase one recipes I spotted on food blogs during the month that just ended. I want to start by confessing that I've been seriously distracted from reading blogs this month, first by trying to get the house/yard/garden in shape before school started, and then by actually having to go back to school! But even with a somewhat part-time effort I still managed to find quite a few tasty phase one options for anyone who might be starting the South Beach Diet (or doing a little diet tune-up.) As always, there may be a few recipes that can be easily made phase one with minor changes, and those will be noted.
